I have been taking pictures ever since I was a little child.
My Dad gave me my first camera - a Leica point and shoot - when I was about 5 years old.
I have been addicted to photography ever since...
I cam to the U.S. in 2004, right after my "Abitur", and started College with a Graphic Design degree, and then added Photography to the program.
I don't consider myself an artist in the sense other people call themselves an artist. My images do not have a deeper meaning to them, you don't have to interpret anything into them.
What my art consists of is to capture the beauty of nature, as it is, as we can see and feel it. When I go out on photo shoots, I go to relax, be close to nature: inhale the smells; capture the colors (in my mind and on "film"); enjoy the feel of textures.
Nature gives us so much, we have learned and continue to learn from it. It is Science's "Idol". I try to show all that in my photographs, the smells, the feel, the textures, the light, the colors...
I hope, that by taking in my images, you, the viewer, can (somehwat) experience what I experience when I make a photograph.
Thank you for viewing!
